In the framework of the Goût de France, which took place worldwide the 19th March, the Ambassador of France in Cyprus hosted a gastronomic diner gathering prominent Cypriot guests, including the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, M. Nikos Kouyialis, and the Minister for Education and Culture, M. Costas Kadis. The diner was cooked by the French Chef Harry le Prévost, who exercised his talents in France, in New York and in Germany, and the French Chef Dominique Malacarne, who heads a catering service in Nicosia.
The High gastronomy restaurant Mavrommatis in Limassol (Four Seasons Hotel) also participated to the event, after being chosen by the Goût de France / Good France operation’s international selection committee of Chefs chaired by Alain Ducasse. The Chef Andreas Mavrommatis came especially from France on this occasion to prepare, together with the Chef and the team of the restaurant, an exceptional diner illustrating the excellency of French culinary arts. The community of Cypriot gourmets, gathering in a friendly and warm atmosphere, recognized the importance of the event as the restaurant had no tables left. The Embassy of France in Cyprus joins the thanks conveyed by Master Alain Ducasse to Andreas Mavrommatis and his team in the Four Season and congratulates them for the exceptional quality of their hospitality and their diner.
