On 21 March 2019, chefs from around the world will work to create a French-style dinner, based around socially responsible cuisine. More than 5000 restaurants will be mobilized as well as French embassies around the globe!
It will be a demonstration of cuisine which is firmly rooted in its time and is sensitive to the needs of today: respecting our planet and healthy eating. The gastronomic region to be honored this year is Provence, in southern France! Visitors will be able to sample tasty food which showcases not only local farmers and produce, but also socially responsible cuisine focusing on environmental protection.
So all over the world on 21 March 2019, and all over France until 24 March, you will find initiatives and experiences to be shared and enjoyed.

Commemoration of the Armistice of 11 November 1918 : more than 60 Heads of State and Government to meet in Paris
During the First World War, men from around the world lost their lives on battlefields in northern and eastern France.
On 11 November 2018, more than 120 foreign dignitaries will meet in Paris to remember 1918 and consider the ways in which lessons learned during the war and over the past 100 years can help reshape today’s world.
For the first session of the Paris Peace Forum, dignitaries will work with members of civil society to develop innovative solutions that help rebuild multilateralism.
France will host the 13rd edition of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF), with this year’s theme being “Internet of Trust”.
This major event on the global governance of the Internet is organized by the French government, under the auspices of the United Nations. It will be held at UNESCO in Paris on 12-14 November 2018.

The first Paris Peace Forum will be held from 11 to 13 November 2018.
In response to the rising tensions in today’s world, the Forum is designed to be the annual meeting for projects, ideas and initiatives which effectively contribute to better international cooperation on the key global issues, fairer and more equitable globalization and a more effective multilateral system. Many Heads of State and Government, representatives from the major international organizations and stakeholders from civil society are expected to be among the several thousands of participants. Some 119 projects will be presented at the event.
